About Westminster Academy Spice Trail
Young people from Westminster Academy are taking part in a programme of documentary filmmaking and photographic activity that will include a youth-led audit of the many culinary zones in the London borough of Westminster, producing multimedia research and building a map of the 'Westminster Spice Trail'.
Using film, photography and the web, the young people are producing research materials through interview with food professionals across the borough, family members of all ages, backgrounds and ethnicities, and creative methods of heritage research.
Part of a larger borough project with four groups of young people, the Westminster Spice Trail project is managed and delivered by not-for-profit youth arts organisation Fishing Rod Experience.
