About Me:

I am a Professional Pet Groomer and have been for around 8-9 years now. I have four Dogs of my own, two Cats, and two Ferrets. In June of 2010 I gave birth to my first child, a wonderful baby boy named Davin whom I love more then life itself! I created this channel to assist owners in taking better care of their pets at home either fulltime or just between professional grooms. Turns out it helps new and experienced groomers refresh their knowledge as well. I appreciate each and every viewer I get and I really hope my videos help you all in some way. Thanks for watching!!! :)

People tell me I shouldn't cut my schnoodles coat with the clippers she has the same type of fur a schnauzer on her back. They say to strip it instead...It won't damage her coat to use clippers will it?

Thank you for the videos and taking time to post some helpful hints. I think you do a great job. Im only a beginnner groomer and your videos have helped me out. I wouldn't pay any mind to the rude comments you get about dogs you groom most of what we do is for pets and how an individual wants them. We all have our own ways we like our pets. some people are not happy unless they are putting someone else down. keep posting we love your videos. Thank you.

Dear Spanielmom, I enjoy to watch your videos. I have almost seen all twice!. I have registered on line grooming school and since 2 months ago I am working as a volunteer in a dog grooming shop as a bather and learning the grooming more as I need hands on training and DVD and Youtube are not enough. But the groomer doesnt let me do much grooming as she says you might hurt the dog and I dont wanna lose any client. Just clean the Poodle face and feet and if you are good then I can let you do a bit more. The problem is there is not too many Poodles who wants face and feet clean. The groomer started her job as a bather and worked for couple of years then become groomer. But as you know this days everything is on line and then hands on training. Please advise. Can I ask you how did you learn dog grooming ? and what was your feeling at the beginning?
Thank you,
One of your fan

I agree, it's just hair and it's also about the owner wishes and the pet comfort right. You are doing a great job.

Thank you so much for your great videos! I have been grooming for about 4 years now with no formal training. I just happened to have 2 friends with Poodles and they were intrested in free haircuts in exchange for letting me practice on thier poor doggies! Lol! I have to say, I did a pretty darn good job with those first few dogs...so I figured this would be a great way to make a few extra bucks...and it snowballed from there! I started with a few books and my trusty ol' friend...youtube! Where I found you're wonderful videos! You are awesome! You freely share your grooming knowledge with eveyone and I greatly appreciate it! Thank you sooo much! If you are a facebooker, please look me up. I'd love to be friends with such a great groomer and a fellow animal lover! crazyzoopeople@yahoo.com
Thanks

Thanks so much for the shih tzu videos. My groomer moved out of state last month. I had a nice 250.00 set of Oster cordless clippers, but I now have a 7fc, a 10, and a 30 blade. My groomer doesn't recommend the other size blades, she said the wahl stainless combs makes them unneccessary. I bought those combs last week. I have finishing combs and detangling combs and she gave me a gallon of the shampoo she used on my dog. I was surprised to see you use teh 40 on the face, she used a 15 on all shih tzus eyes. I have a half bichon half yorkie I have been practicing on too. THey look pretty good today after watching your videos.

I love your videos!! Very informative. I own a 3 year old Teacup Yorkie and a 12 year old cocker spaniel mix. I myself groom my own dogs. I have no professional training. But you make grooming tips helpful to follow. I wasn't to far off the mark. Now I can do much better because of your videos. Thanks!!
