What often puzzles me though, is some of his interpretations seem as if he were using slightly different compositions than those usually performed. And I don't mean his artistic stylings either. Even in this performance he definitely plays a few passages quite differently...

IMHO this tree was screaming to be a windswept semi-cascade style. It's easy to be critical so far after the fact (and I do thoroughly enjoy Graham's videos), but I think he went in the wrong direction with this one.
