@fishbowlfire Current "Jensen" speakers are Jensen in name only. They're made in Italy by Sica, and the designs have little in common with Jensens made in Chicago prior to 1971. I've also seen a number of these fail.

You're certainly correct that matching a speaker to a tube amplifier is very important to the final sound. I wonder if any Theremins were made with speakers that use a field-coil rather than a permanent magnet.

The speaker should be a Jensen P15LL, unless you've done some special mods.

Interesting -- I recently rebuilt a 1952 C-2 scanner, and all the stationary plate screws were all gold-plated. These don't appear to be. What's really fun is when you have to rethread the bearings with new oil threads.

Good job--except that your upper slow motor needs a new spring or needs to have the old one stretched a bit. The slow motor rotor shouldn't bottom out and clatter like that when you go from slow to fast, but it's easily fixed :-)

Nice demo. Correct me if I'm wrong, but isn't that a Leslie 120 cabinet? The clue to me is the feet that raise it off the floor. The 120 and 125 were pretty much the same except that the 120 had no internal amplifier, just a speaker and the rotating drum. The 125 had a 20W tube amp.
