Chris Shakallis lives in the northern beaches of Sydney.Working as a remedial masseur,musician,sound therapist and lecturer.He has an interest in the transformative potentials of music from all cultures.Chris has been working with singing bowls for the last 16 years. Introduced to the singing bowls in the early 1990's by the late Chris Catsanis,a pioneer in Australia of the use of Tibetan Monastic instruments,they performed together for 7 years in the Bells and Bowls ensemble.During this time Chris developed a deep interest in sound healing and subsequently began to explore the therapeutic use of a variety of Tibetan Monastic instruments.Chris has released 2 CD's in his" Singing Bowls Explore The Enneagram" series-"Octaves From The Sun" and "Beyond The Moon",a third disc in this series will be available in 2009.
