nothing wrong with this....the music production is good the voice may not be Kiki..but the girl has good go.....i was at wigan back in the day.....if this had been played i think it would have got decent reception...lets face it there was a lot of worse records played at the venue!!!!

Your music is massive in Britain, especially on the Northern Soul Scene...I was baby sitting for my auntie in 1977..i was 14 years of age..she had the TEMPS GREATEST HITS album, never heard it before. put it on the turntable and wow that was it. from the first note to the last note of that album...

Thats my point if the label was covered with adifferent artists name we wouldnt have known it was Lulu.....would we have embraced Paul Ankas cant help loving you if the artist name hadnt been changed to Johnny Caswell...just alittle debate thats all.....I went to Wigan and some of the tunes lacke...

pure genius

has all the trappings of northern soul..but its no suprise that elvis made tracks like these..he was heavily influenced by black artists..r&b, soul etc

the morning light streaming thru the skylight of the ceiling of the casino, this tune playing on the decks, me on the dancfloor dancing looking up at the vast ceiling of the Casino, if i had died then i would have died contented and i was only 16.

made my hairs on the back of my neck stand up on the dancefloor at Wigan, still does the same on the rare occasions i get to go to a Northern Niter, pure nostalgia from the best 2 years of my life between 79 and 81.

response to Mrs Higgs, if this had only ever been a demo record and never released, and aNorthern Soul dj found it in the vaults of a record company, covered the label and then gave the artist a more credible name then would it be classed as Northern Soul?
