About Me:
Just a short explanation of the instrument i play.The Hang was born 7 years ago and means "Hand" in the Bern dialect, originally it was "HangHang" but hang players had shortened it to "Hang", you may often hear the hang refered to as a "Hang-Drum". However its true name is hang or hanghang and not hang drum. Seven years of research went into this magical instrument, researching the cultures and there musical instruments from around the world and the physics of the "Octave" itself. Now to get a "Hang" means a pilgrimage to Switzerland to see Sabina and felix and as from what i have found out there is now over a year long waiting list. As only two "HangHang" are made each day and the workshop is only open to appointments for only a couple of months a year as much time is spent on reasearching the "HangHang" for future development.This is an instrument that is prized by its owners and hypnotises those that hear it.

First time that I hear a band ( I would call it "ensemble") which is not drowning the HANG out.

Not heard from you for a while, hope all is ok and life down under is treating you well.
Just wondered if you were thinking of coming to the HangOut this year? you've not been very active on the Hang-Music forum.
We've got Davide Swarup coming over to the HangOut this year so that should liven things up a little, it'll be good to meet him too.
