Wow, youtube really has died when it comes to a reputable place to exchange underground music. Youtube used to be the best way to fight The Man. Now youtube Is The Man with these stupid fucking channel layouts designed to appease corporate sponsors or paid channels. All the creativity of the users has been thrown away down to the bottom. Our uploaded videos turned into teeny icons and our profile stripped of its former glory. This is no doubt to please people who only come on youtube to be mindlessly entertained and don't have a profile of their own. Which makes up Most of the viewing audience or traffic to the site. These layouts as I said are designed to appease corporate channels and youtube parters who post stupid ads. But what Google is forgetting is that the content they posess doesen't belong to them. ITS YOUTUBE. Not, give us your self so we can use you. I used to be able to inform my listeners and now long gone fans of who I was. Thanks to youtubes new corporate layout and takeover its damn near impossible to find any worthwhile artists very active anymore. All my favorite friends no longer post new material and I can't help but wonder if its for the same reason I stopped posting. When Youtube went under new management, I wanted So desperately to believe they weren't selling out. But thats exactly what they did. They sold us out.
