I just wanna say how disappointed I am with Stars of Track and Field's new single "Racing Lights". The song sounds like it was specifically designed to be played on Top 40 radio alongside the likes of Pink, Lifehouse, and Miley Cyrus. What happened to the amazing shoegazey sound from the first album which was influenced by great bands like U2, Coldplay, and Radiohead? Why did you have to sell out and make a song that sounds like every other popular current song? I have to say the bridge of "Racing Lights" is the absolute worst part. The melody that is used in the bridge literally sounds like a million other popular songs, and not even popular songs by rock bands, but by pop artists like Pink and Kelly Clarkson. What happened? Did Wind-Up Records put pressure on you to sound more like other popular artists? All I can say is I hope the new album isn't nearly as terrible as the first single! You guys really disapointed me with that!
