About SOS Gangs Project
St Giles Trust started the highly successful 'SOS Gangs Project' way back in August 2006 and in doing so created the first ever ex-offender led statutory funded project in the country.
SOS Project is about empowering young people to make positive choices, to examine reason and to gain support from someone who has been in their situtation and is therefore is credible.
The service provides tailormade support to young people aged 18-30 who are at risk of involvement in gang-related activity and critically the support is tailormade.
We achieved incredible outcomes and success smashing the re-offending rates for our client group from the 75% norm down to just 12%
Since 2006 the project has grown - T2A has helped expand the project to include croydon and we have recently started SOS + a project that engages with young people in communities, schools, colleges and estates.
We need your support - because only by standing together will we ever see an end to the violence on the streets so tell your friends and get them to join our page - this is the best place on youtube to see some of the postive work that we have been doing and will highlight a positive message to individuals all over the world.
