sorcery rock band

This is the original "SORCERY" Rock Band from Los Angeles Ca.USA. They were first scene in the mid 70's.They were a one of a kind "Rock Theatre" group, comprised of 6 members. Two members were Master Magicians.
The musicians were three studio session players,Guitar,Bass and Drummer, plus a lead Vocalist.
They were first scene around the world in 1978, when they appeared in the film "Stuntrock" which was released worldwide in the spring of that year along with providing the films soundtrack LP.
"SORCERY" was known for their "Live" stage show", billed as "The King of the Wizards against the Prince of Darkness" and depicted the battle of good vs, evil as Merlin takes on the Devil live on stage. They used magic illusions as weapons in the battle,with a hard rock music score for their presentation. No one had ever presented magic and music in this way before! Their audiences were treated to one of the most elaborate stage shows of it's kind in the world in the 70's. To this day there has never been another Rock show like it. A one of a kind group, and more of a "Rock Theatre" or "Rock Opera" was this one of a kind group, Sorcery. They also provided the films entire soundtrack LP/CD (EMI/Ploygram). DO NOT CONFUSE with a number of other bands have used this name "Sorcery" from Argentina, Chicago to Sweden. For the record, This is the ONLY band named "SORCERY" (based in Los Angeles CA.) that ever had a major record company contract and appeared in films seen around the world. Signed to EMI/POLYGRAM Records in Jan. 1978. The musicians in this "SORCERY" band did additional movies and soundtrack work, appeared on Dick Clark specials, and were seen around the world for many years on TV specials and in motion pictures they appeared in. They headlined over bands like Van Haylen in 1977,and many other bands of the late 70's.
They provide the music used in other films, and TV specials, including the film "Rocktober Blood" as well.
Also can be seen on TV specials in Europe and two Dick Clark 90 minute Halloween specials in the 80's as well. They did numerous TV and movie soundtracks in the 70's and 80's for Casablanca Records to CBS/Sony projects.
They were members of "AFTRA", the "Musicians Union Local 47" in Hollywood California, and "S.A.G." members as well.
