This video is from the 2009 adaptation of "Wuthering Heights", which aired on British television. It's been a year since I last posted a music video, and I felt so rusty when I began work on this one. I want to thank all my subscribers for hanging in there with me, patiently waiting for a new video. I know I've promised some Richard Armitage/Guy videos to quite a few of you, lol. I do have ideas for him, but first I needed to work on getting my editing mojo back again so I chose something simple that had been on my mind since I watched this version of "Wuthering Heights" earlier this year. It's not the most faithful adaptation out there, but I really enjoyed it because it retained the atmosphere and nature of the characters- that plus Tom Hardy made a fantastic Heathcliff...and those full, pouty lips of his were a bit of a draw for me too, lol. This video is from Cathy's point of view and focuses on her efforts to break free from her destructive relationship with the volatile Heathcliff, but finding herself unable (or unwilling) to completely give him up.
