SONIC KOCO was formed in 2008. The band is mainly an instrumental ambient rock and studio band that comes from London, England. They have their own independent record label Money Talks and management company AGM Ltd.
SONIC KOCO are a group of artists and musicians that specialise in composing and producing atmospheric sounds, exciting musical journeys and original thought provoking songs.
The band is often asked where did the SONIC KOCO name come from and why have they become an ambient rock group? Well the original story was too boring, so they made one up! They just love speed and chocolate (get it?)! Put them together and you get SONIC KOCO. BTW it has nothing to do with the Sonic the Hedgehog character and no one in the band is called Sonic either! Their ambient rock music comes from just the unique style and sound that they have created, which is quite original and they hope that you'll agree. Also, the band members have rather a wacky English sense of humour and they don't take themselves too seriously!
Amazingly the band has recorded over a hundred and fifty songs and a total seven albums so far. All the songs have been written and produced by the band at their Weybridge Studios.
The band's first album Big Wave was recorded in 2008. Their other albums are; Ambient Climbs, Deafening Silence, Less Is More, One Step Ahead of the Rest, Sure Thing and their latest album Smiler. They will shortly be working on their next album project Freedom Dream, which the title song has now been posted on this channel.
