A video will be posted up some time in the future on how the voting for the contestans will work.

Please read the following information very carefully if you wish to audition for The You Tube Song Writers Contest.

Basically its a chance to give some of the most brilliant song writers on you tube worldwide you tube fame. Dont worry there is an amazing prize awaiting the winner.

Ok, so what do you have to do? You have to compose an original song completely written by you. Your song has to be a minimum of 3 minutes long and a maximum of no more than 5 minutes long. This song must be put into a video and posted up on your you tube account. There are a few things that are mandatory to have with your song and a few things that are optional. You must have lyrics. You can just write the lyrics up in the video, or you can sing them ocopella. You can have a friend or family member sing your song for you, if you yourself arent a great singer. Keep in mind though that if you have someone sing your song for you, they will have to say who they are singing the song for.
You have the option of writing instruments for your song, but you dont have to. It would be a good idea for you to write a full thread song with instruments because that will give you a better chance of winning. Again if you are an amazing song writer, but cannot sing or play an instrument, you can have another person play and sing your song for you. Just remember that if you are not performing your original song, the person playing it for you must say who the original composer of the song is. If you have a band and would like your band to play your song, by all means do so. You just have to acknowledge who the original writer of the song is.The prize for the first place winner of the you tube song writers contest is a chance to get one song mixed and mastered with professional equipment by fall of glory music. The only downside is that you will have to record your tracks and then send them to me to get them mixed and mastered by fall of glory music. You will be given more details on that if you win the contest. The first place winner will also get their winning video posted on the you tube song writers contest official page, as well as fall of glory musics official page. The winners video will be posted on those two you tube accounts for all of the following season. The second and third place winners videos will be posted in the playlist titled runner up on the you tube song writers contest page.
To enter this competition you must have a you tube account. If you dont have one, just head over to youtube.com and sign up. Its completely free, easy, and wont take you that long at all.
To enter the you tube song writers competition right now, upload your audition video to your you tube account and e-mail the link to your audition video to youtubesongwriterscontest@hotmail.com. If you make it past the auditions to the first round, we will send you an e-mail back telling you the good news. We will also favourite your audition video to our account where all of you tube will be able to see it. When you email your audition video to us, also give us an e-mail that you use regularly. This e-mail will be used to tell you if you made it to the first, as well as tell you about more upcoming rounds and songs you will have to write in the future. If at any moment in the competition you decide to stop participating, your original audition video will be used towards your place in every round of the contest.
This contest is for any genre of song writers. If you write rap, r&b, rock, metal, scremo, deathcore, deathmetal, rege, country, pop, etc, then this competition is jut for you.
Each season will have its own video announcing when it will start and finish as well as any updates to the competition for that season.
