About this user

Hello! My name is Leann and I am a 21-year old music therapy student at Marywood University. My major instrument is voice and I've been studying privately for 6 years (2 with Jennifer Carnevale, 1 with Karen Beardsley-Peters from Manhattan School of Music, and currently with Ellen Rutkowski at Marywood University). I've also been playing piano (with Pat Koch) and guitar (with Charles Truitt) for 2 years, and just started the ukulele this year. And for 7 years, I played the drums (studied privately for 2 years with Walter Schneider) but stopped to focus on singing even though I still got it!

At Marywood University, I am involved in the Marywood Music Therapy Club (where I am currently Historian), Music Ministry in the choir and cantor, Passion Play, Campus Choir and Chamber Singers. At home, I have been a cantor for my church for 4 1/2 years. Otherwise, I am also a member of the American Music Therapy Association and the Mid-Atlantic Region Music Therapy Student Association.

My channel's purpose is to show family and friends performances in school and to also let you listen, comment and ENJOY! Please do not leave negative comments and thank you all in advance for all of your support!

Random facts:
- I have perfect pitch and so does my brother who is very musically talented, subscribe to him (lukeostrow)!!
- I love roller coasters of any kind.
- I improvise harmonies for fun and if you go to my friend's channel which I recommend subscribing (kristenvogt24), there are some songs we collaborated on.
- I have been a member of Bergen County Choir in high school for 2 years and scored as the number one for Alto I senior year.
- When I grow up, I would like to be a music therapist for a school with disabled children and sing for a living!
- My birthday is July 22nd :)
