	SomethingUnreal (3 weeks ago) @djlyngo: If you're going to code a program to work with MIDI files, you may find a library such as Mabry's MIDI OCX files useful. However, I plan to release Bawami (my MIDI player) some time soon. Stability is no longer the main issue, but I'd like to make it run more efficiently, and I still have to make that little "Fix" program that I usually include with my releases to fix DLL and OCX file problems (I'll try to build it into Bawami if possible). Once released, apart from the hardware, you should only need my Arduino sketch, which I might as well release (although it's messy and nothing special).
	SomethingUnreal (3 weeks ago) @djlyngo: A program I made in VB loads and plays a MIDI file. It's primarily made for playing them on a soundcard, but I added the ability to control 2 stepper motors and 2 DC motors via a serial port. It sends info about playing notes to an Arduino Mega. The Arduino controls 2 stepper motors directly using its hardware timers, and the info on an LCD shield. For controlling the DC motors, the Arduino passes the info on (on one of its other serial ports) to a Sabertooth 2x5-amp motor speed controller from a company called Dimension Engineering. (...)
