Someday Static is an up-and-coming rock band from New York. The five-member group came together in 2009, and has since cranked out keys-infused songs, which range in tone from inspiring numbers like "A Call To Open Arms" to eerie tracks like "Monster." Driving rhythms and emotional lyrics round out a sound that melds pop, alternative rock and electronic elements. In addition to playing local shows in New York City, they've performed at many venues along the East Coast, including recent performances at the Miami Music Festival and at Mohegan Sun Arena for the 2010 Miss NY Chinese Beauty Pageant. In 2010 the band released their debut EP, "Weird Stupid Noise." It features seven tracks, including "As I Die," which was co-written and produced by Mark Troth Lewis (Flyleaf, White Light Motorcade).
