Established in 1923 and run by the third generation of Sokolowski family members, the University Inn is famous for the kind of food that grandma used to make - Kielbasa, Pierogi, Gowamki, Bratwurst, Salisbury Steak, and many other comfort foods. We are located at 1201 University Rd. Cleveland Ohio 44113. Our phone number is 216.771.9236. We take reservations and private parties. We have a full bar with the best view of downtown Cleveland and the Cuyahoga River. We have been featured on Anthony Bourdain 'No Reservations', Robin Swoboda 'That's Life' and recently 'The Best Thing I Ever Ate' with our pierogi being Mike Symons favorite. We are open for lunch 11AM - 3 PM Monday through Friday. We are open for dinner on Friday 5 - 9 PM and Saturday 4 - 9 PM with the full bar being open late. We have daily specials.
