I met Satan about a few weeks back. He was walking home from a bar and he wasn't looking very good. Hard times he said. Nobody believed in anything anymore except M-TV and McDonalds. He was down and out he said and feeling pretty depressed about it all. I asked him what was up with God. He told me that both of them have been drinking and smoking a lot of weed together while reminiscing about the good old days and stuff like that. Like when evil was evil and when good was good. He told me that Hell is no longer of any use because there are just so many messed up and confused people that Hell has become more appealing than Heaven for most, rather than a punishment. Something went wrong he said. Ole Satan wasn't really a bad sort, kind of friendly, almost chatty even! I asked him about all the evil in the world. I asked him about George Bush and all his cohorts and stuff but Satan just shook his head. He said that all that stuff was something far more devious than any of his plans and designs and that George Bush and American Politics are an anomaly to the spiritual realms as such and that in a way he is deeply, deeply disappointed with the whole thing. He told me that he even paid a visit to the White House to try and strike up some sort of deal with those guys and he was thrown out by the secret service! I told him that I was sorry for him and that I think everybody should have their dreams full-filled. He gasped and started getting even more depressed. I asked him what the matter was and he told me that what I just said was a perfect example. He said what made it worse was that a mere mortal such as my self pitied him! Well, after that I took my leave. He informed me that we will be seeing each other pretty soon as a matter of fact.
