I agree with you. It crashes all the time on my computer, which is a pain, but when it does work, it becomes quite a helpful tool for catching any songs that I'm missing.

You should try and use WinTV scheduler. It'll record the programs for you while you are away from your computer. That's what I do in my dorm since I'm outside most of the time, I just open WinTV to make sure video opens and then run the scheduler especially for the overnights.
