Social Landscape is an ongoing art project exploring the different qualities of social interaction and exchange that exist today. 'Social Landscape' is planning a collaborative, beach clean up, time lapse animation. From sunrise to sunset teams of community and project participants will collect garbage and debris from a two-mile stretch of Ocean Beach. Trash will be collected and sorted by color and value, and we will orchestrate the organization of this material on a large expanse of sand at the north end of the beach. The entire event will be documented in time-lapse animation from the cliffs above. City waste management is providing a debris box to remove and recycle the debris.
