DAMN !! Love that shot at 9.05...Efren's got so much knowledge of physics to know how the cue ball reacts (and spin generated) when striking so hard at that steep angle. He is THE BEST !!

Reyes IS a player's player! I've viewed Mosconi and the rest, but none compares! Lucky he's alive, playing still and I get to watch him practice at Hardtimes Bellflower whenever he comes to the U.S. for tournaments.

Efren still has a super 9 Ball game...however, I really enjoy his one pocket game, there's none better than him!

1 hole is like chess on a pool table. Execution should be offensive, yet defensive in posture. Always calculate your exposure should you miss. Take risks only when your calculated % is at least 80%. Efren is the master, I'm in amazement whenever I view him playing this game.

I agree...I only started listening to country because of Taylor. She brought back meaningful lyrics and real music. I stopped listening to FM radio when music died in the 1990's. Thanks Taylor!!

LOL! Billy, Scott, & Corey! They are so funny, yet knowledgeable. They understand the nuances of one pocket, but each have different strategies and confidences in playing the game. They are great as commentators together! I enjoyed hearing their chatter! LOL!

yup, Efren was in dead stroke! He realized a few games into the match that his opponent wasn't a threat, so he got more comfortable and loose. He just free wheeled the last 4 games. The other guy got tighter and even missed easy outs. That's the Efren Factor in pool...it gives him a couple...

these commentators don't know anything about one pocket. I watch Efren's strategy. It's akin to chess, or Texas Hold 'em. Know when to attack, when to defend, when to bait n' tease. Assess your opponents weaknesses, and take advantage of them.

23:22 was lucky to go in...however, his aim, shot speed, lower right hand English spin were masterfully executed. A kick shot of this type can only be accomplished successfully by a pool champion..such as "The Magician".

Efren playing "one hole" against Bustamante...now that's what I'm talkin' about !!! I luv playing One Pocket. It's like chess on a pool table. Offensive shots must be defensive in posture...just in case you don't execute properly. (that's for average players...not these 2 guys!)

I agree! That 2 to 4 ball shot a 1:30 had powerful knowledge of physics, trigonometry and skill in execution! ....and that masse shot at 3:60 to get shape...WOW!!

Efren adjusts the speed of his break to make the 9 ball in the side. He precisely places the cue ball and hits rack precisely where he aims. It's not a soft nor hard break like the non-playing commentor states.

55:30 definitely another remarkable highlight. Creative, precise, great speed control, and the 6 ball arrived in perfect position for an easy run-out! Commentators had to chuckle in disbelief at just another Efren Magical shot!!

Old man Efren just won the one pocket segment of a major tourney in Las Vegas 5/2011. Alex Pagulayan got 3rd. He IS the best at that game! I'd rather watch him play one pocket, than 10 ball anyday...requires knowledge, defensive strategy, finesse and patience.
