Thank you for your comment on my profile. Indeed, our tastes are quite common ;) "Pride and Prejudice" is still my favorite movie, so as "North and South". I'm also a BIG fan of Josh Groban.
I see that you can speak a little bit Polish, that's so nice! I'm glad to meet someone form Czech. I was in Prague couple of years ago and i want to visit your country once again. I'm totally in love with Prague - so clean, beautiful and friendly city.

I quite like 'Pop'. I think it's not appreciated enough for its quality. They did 'Gone' on the 'Elevation' tour and it was brilliant.

I know what you mean. I had to get up really early and spend about 5 hours on the internet to get my ticket last year. I wish I had the ticket in my hands already! They always say a show is sold out. Zagreb was allegedly sold out, and then the tickets appeared about a month before the show. By then I couldn't afford to get them anymore. :(
'Hold me, Thrill me, Kiss me, Kill me' would be very nice hear! Oh, and 'Gone' or 'Mofo'. Is it just me, or they don't play enough of 'Pop'?

When we came to the show, and Snow Patrol were just about to go on, I told one of my friends how I know one of their songs for sure. When they started playing 'Chasing Cars' I told her 'That's the one'! She knew 'Run'. Many people were quite impressed with Snow Patrol that day. And many of us became fans at the show! Gary had a permanent smile on his face throughout the show. :) He even got us to sing 'Shut your eyes and sing to me' for (as he put it) the mighty, mighty U2. We all cheered when he'd say something in Croatian.

They didn't sing 'I still haven't found what I'm looking for' when I saw them. :( All the crowd singing together is the greatest, isn't it? Another favorite moment was 'With or Without You'. When the lights focused on the crowd and we all sang with Bono. I only wish he sang that extra verse. He did on the second show. It was incredible hearing Bono speak in Croatian.
I've read about all the flags during 'New Year's Day'. What an incredible sight that must have been! I've only seen the video and it looks amazing!!

Poland was just before Zagreb then. Thank you for the clip! 'One' was one of my favorite moments of the show. I did enjoy 'I'll go crazy if I don't go crazy tonight' very much! Oh, did you sing 'Happy Birthday' to The Edge as well? :)
All I knew about Snow Patrol was that they have a song called 'Chasing Cars'. And this I figured out maybe a week or two before the show. Gary really connected nicely with all U2 fans at the show! :) I hope to see their own show some day as well.
I am hoping to see U2 on the second leg of their tour. I have my heart set on Austria at the end of August. Keeping my fingers crossed. You are so lucky! You already have your ticket! I wonder if they'll change their set list a lot. There are some songs I'd still like to hear. Like 'The Fly' or 'I Will Follow'.

Yes, saw U2 in Zagreb. I was only at the first show on the 9th of August. Sadly I couldn't get the ticket for the second show. I did try though. Snow Patrol were the best surprise I could ever hope to get! I normally don't like opening acts. The Hours were great, but didn't really make a big impression. After the show, we were all talking about Snow Patrol and how great they were! Brilliant band! You say you went to see them abroad. Where did you go?
