the lyrics of the song 'New York' should be;
'I miss it all from the lough to the Lagan'

not

'i miss it all from the love to the lightening'

The Lagan is a river in Northern Ireland which flows from Lough Neagh down to Belfast Lough. Belfast Lough extends down to Bangor (Where Gary is from) and he grew up on the shores of the lough and the banks of the Lagan.

Pretty easy mistake to make if you're not familiar with Northen Ireland and it's geography. But it totally changes the meaning of the song for me.

cool, my favourite song is Chocolate too. i found out today that my best friend bought Fallen Empires yesterday. he's a new snow patrol fan! thanks for the info. also, its not really Snow Patrol related, but I was just wondering if you knew anything about Nathan Connolly's other band File Under Easy Listening? I've heard a couple of their tracks but I don't think any of their songs are on Youtube. thanks
