i'm not gonna say their newer stuff is bad, i can still listen to it, but to me the old stuff is green day. yeah it was simpler musically, and he didn't sing about world issues, but it was pure and raw back then in a way that none of the newer music is. if i wanna hear greenday, that's the stuff...
