Much the same as any other nikon - a fking mess. I own a d3x but rarely use anything but the basics in the menus. How about a "favourites" menu where your frequently used settings are instantly available rather than having to piss around wasting time

If you want to shoot movies, buy a video camera

DSLRs are best for shooting moving subjects. Buy medium format if you want the best image quality for static subjects

No matter how many pixels a DSLR has, it`s small 35mm sensor will always limit the image quality. More pixels doesn`t mean a better image. I own a d3x, but I can`t afford medium format, so whats the solution?

Great shooting! My next camera will be a 6" by 9". I mainly shoot landscape but I`m frustrated with the "small" format dslr, even though I own a d3x. The quality of large film prints with a view camera must be amazing, and the tilt/shift makes it a no brainer

Good glass either keeps or increases it`s value, whereas my d3x will depreciate rapidly as technology advances.

Here`s a tip: some zeiss lenses, such as the 35/1,4, are better than the equivalent nikon/canon. And if you want to seperate your subject from the background, don`t buy zoom lenses
