Handmade Groove was formed after Hugh's daughter, Rachel, insisted that he respond to a "musician wanted" ad posted by David. The two became instant friends despite David's demanding and aggressive nature. Handmade Groove enjoys a rigorous performance schedule of parking lot scenes, open mic appearances, private engagements and benefit shows.

you guys are the best! im 17 hailing from pittsburgh, pa (GO STEERLERS AND PENGUIINS) .....sorry anyways, i have become a massive phish fan and for only being 17 and completely missing the glory days it is the best feeling to know that they're back. sorry about the whole northeast fall tour thing, bummer they aren't going down to you guys. but thank you for the great tunes! david, if you could teach me how to play more like trey idk with tips or something, that would be awesome. your punch you in the eye is so kick ass!

Thank you for being an inspiration! I've been learning a lot of Phish on acoustic lately and you guys have helped me a bunch.

One song that I find is really, really awesome is Slave to the Traffic Light. You should definitely check it out (I'm sure you have already though)
