Greetings from Chicago! Those canadian roads in winter look pretty challenging. I'm thinking to get some loads up there, maybe next year. Do you have your own authority or does landstar give theirs?

Reefers pay pretty good. I can never pull them because you load and unload in some dangerous and filthy locations; plus you have to listen to that din of the reefer all the time... But the money is there because 'people have to eat' so there's always work for guys pulling reefers. Just don't park next to me at a truck stop ;)
