One Simple Idea

To offer a line of tunes and chime products that have the performance and sound that pros expect without the hefty price tag that they don't need.

Does the world really need another chime supplier.

No. What the world needs is a supplier that is honest and fair, and affordable.. At least that's what I believe and that's what I set out to achieve. I challenged all of the long-standing beliefs and sacred cows about these things, with one single goal in mind: If it doesn't add value, don't do it!

Chime Myth #1: The lower the price, the lower the quality

Did you know that on average less than 1/3 of the price of a chime or chime unit is the cost it takes to actually make the item? Guess where the other 2/3 of the costs come from.big time advertising budgets, big time NASCAR teams, big time corporate staffs, and big time profits. My philosophy is never to be "big time". By cutting out all of the "extras", I can offer people the same quality and performance at a much lower price.

Chime Myth #2: Other suppliers need at least 200 products

Some leading suppliers of chimes offer over 10 different items and choices of a same-alike-product alone! Well, I hope that works for them but that's not me. My philosophy is built on keeping things simple. I currently offer 3 of the best products I can make..all designed by me, produced and engineered by me. Of course, we're not opposed to making 4 or even 5 if that's what it takes.

Chime Myth #3: If your brand is not in the big boxes, no one will want it

With all due respect to the big boys in Chime suppliers, I kind of prefer the personal service and depth of knowledge that my customers can find on the end of the phone or on the web site. I'd rather focus on selling better chimes than selling bigger ones.

Chime Myth #4: Guys want all the new gadgets

Ok, so some guys may like 100's of tunes on their chime, or have a brass band playing .just not the ones that I talked to. You know what my customers told me they wanted: Original chime tunes at a good price. Instead of the newest bell or whistle, I spend my time and money to create chimes and tunes which work better, sound better and last longer.

I operate Smart Audio as a spare time hobby, as I want to, just because. I do things things differently to the others. Saying that, my quality and attention to detail is just as good as theirs.

I want my chimes and tunes to be a smart buy for my customers. I want the tunes and chimes meet or exceed the performance and quality of competing national brands but are priced lower. The brand offers the quality at a price with an excellent option to higher priced chimes tunes and accessories. I believe my tunes are the best value and I have been designing, engineering and producing them since 2004..
