about 2/3 of the population of hawaii is asian-american. people that can afford it send their kids to private schools, as the public schools are underfunded...

really an excellent pianist, and gracious to boot. she caught me trying to sneak into a rehearsal once, and invited me to help check the auditorium for acoustics.

@xJoeyFigx ain't that the truth. sometimes listening to jarrett it occurs to me that if ludwig, chopin, liszt, and rachmaninoff heard him they'd be thinking 'damn! i wish i'd thought of that/1'

anna's a joy to watch, as well as listen to. fine pianism, and a fine spell she casts.

thanks for putting this back up. anna's scarbo and brahms paganini variations were among the best i've ever heard.
