General Guidelines:
Here are some general guidelines I ask you to follow before leaving a comment or asking me a question. These are not that lengthy and are pretty easy to follow.

- In addition to that, don't take the liberty of advertising for yourself in my channel or video comments.

- If you have a question for me, check my video series Ask SlimKirby for the answers before coming to me. If it's a question I haven't answered before or haven't answered very many times, I will try to answer it, but it's not a guarantee, because my PM box gets filled quite easily.

- Please be constructive when leaving comments. I welcome all comments, even negative ones, as long as they are somewhat helpful and constructive, and not insulting.

- DO NOT ASK ME FOR THE FOLLOWING
1. Skype or Other IM Handles
2. E-Mail
3. Wii Numbers or Friend Codes
This info is reserved for friends and people I stay in contact with. Not strangers!
NOTE: I will accept Youtube friend requests, but that doesn't give anybody any extra privileges. They are just easy to accept. Being a Youtube friend doesn't make you a friend in real life.

- If you want a way to reach me, sending a private message on Youtube is the best way, but only send a message if you have an urgent question that I haven't addressed elsewhere. I will not take the time to chit-chat with strangers. Plus it's time I don't have.

- Feel free to post whatever you want to on my channel comments page as long as you follow any of the prior guidelines. I will delete any comments that do not follow them.

- Before leaving a comment or sending me a message, double check what you are asking/telling me before you do because I may have clarified or addressed it in a video description or annotation, my recent activity feed, a future video, or it may have been pointed out by somebody else in the comments already. Things only need to be mentioned once!

- Do not ask to be a part of Crystal Star Studio. Membership is exclusive to people I/we know and trust and we don't plan to add any members at this time anyway.

Failure to follow these guidelines will usually result in a lack of acknowledgment of your post/comment or a warning. Repeated offenses will result in being blocked, which means you can't post comments or receive subscription updates.

Hello everybody, SlimKirby here! Welcome to my lovely channel! =P

I first started making Youtube videos in the Summer of 2007. I started off by posting video game walkthroughs of specific games using a camcorder pointed at my television screen. Since then, my channel has grown and evolved quite significantly. Not only do I record more high quality videos, but the number of videos, projects, and subscribers have grown quite significantly larger than I have ever expected possible; for me at least. Also, with the addition of commentary in 2008, my focal point has now shifted over from walkthroughs to Let's Plays, which are slowly, but surely, becoming the more well-recognized name for these types of videos.

In 2009, I formed the CrystalStarStudio channel and Blargg Pit website along with fellow members ShadowMarioXLI, MegaFreak400, PowerToMario, ThePastaKing, GaiaCrusher9, and KManRules1331. I've been working with these guys for a very long time, even before the website was even formed, and I've never regretted, not for even one second, working with these individuals. They are very nice, friendly, hilarious, unique, and kind-hearted people and it's been a blast working with them.

In 2010, I joined The Game Station, and I have really enjoyed working with them. I give major thanks to them for letting me further customize my channel and its resources, and for giving me so many wonderful opportunities now, and no doubt, many wonderful opportunities in the future.

In my Let's Plays, I tend to take a very informative approach to doing things. I have so much to say about video games, and I have a knack for helping people through them as well, going back to the early days of me as a child when I would always be the first kid in class to beat a certain game, and the guy who always knew all the tricks of the trade. I also try to make my videos entertaining as well, and not too informative, but the informative side comes more natural to me. I also have a very monotone voice, but there is nothing I can do about that. It's how I naturally sound in real life, and it's a part of who I am. So if you think I am severely tired, sick, or annoyed in my videos, 9 out of 10 times, I'm just fine and it's just the voice. =P

You can find a plethora of different games on my channel varying between different genres and different series. In the world of my Let's Plays, anything is fair game as long as I have played the game, and if it's a game I feel strongly about and comfortable enough doing as a project. This is why I do not take requests, because if I did, I would be asked to play games that I do not like, do not have, or just wouldn't be up to playing at that moment in time. All of the projects on my channel are 100% chosen by me, with no outside influence.
