About this user

My thoughts are constantly shifting and changing. I am Egyptian/Lebanese and a Muslim who follows Ahlul Bayt, but regardless of who or what I follow, I believe in Islamic Unity. I am deeply affected by the works and amazing words of Imam Khomeini, Sheikh Kishk, Sayyid Qutb (very very misunderstood), Ali Shariati, and also, believe it or not, the Renaissance era philosophers, which are too many to name.

I love reading and learning new things all the time, and am a fan of philosophical and social discussions. In those discussions, I love it when my ideas are challenged and I also love challenging people's ideas in order to make sure we are all thinking about the conversation thoroughly.

I of course am proud of my heritage, I love Egypt and Lebanon, and wish for the best for the world... Please message or leave a comment... One more thing, I have definitely moved away from the hardcore Nationalism I used to believe in a few years back, but of course it's still within me, just a more healthy balanced version...
