I'm an American and I'd like to add my good wishes as well. God save the Queen! If only we had the kind of continuity and sense of duty among the members of our government that Her Majesty has brought to Britain and the Commonwealth for so long. She has been a singular example for us all.

How does she do that??? I grew up with the autoharp in school and it was a rudimentary instrument at best used by our teachers to play basic chords for songs we sang as children. I've never seen it used like Mother Maybelle uses it. Incredible!

@morganandb2 Perfectly articulated! I couldn't agree more. Queen Elizabeth embodies so many virtues that seem devalued today. It is almost as if duty, honor, discretion, loyalty (etc) are so "old fashioned" as to be irrelevant in modern society. I often hear people speak of her as an anachronism....

@dragoncaviar Strained? Really????? Actually, it is the effortless nature of Pavarotti's voice that distinguishes him from Florez (in addition to the obvious "thin" and "tinny" quality of Florez's voice.). Just listen. It's really not up for debate actually.
