I ride in a feedyard for a living. Consequently, I use that environment to train horses. They get pretty used to all kinds of stuff... cattle, cattle, and more cattle, gates, gates and more gates. Feedtrucks, loaders, heavy equipment, 4-wheelers. Lots of activity and energy during any working day.
Ride w/ others, ride alone, get out of the way and block the exit.
These horses just get used a lot. I love the environment, it is horse trainer heaven.
