This is my homepage for my Runescape clan and my Dofus guild. I will also share a few facts or pics of nintendo things sometimes.
About Me:
You may or may not have heard of me. As of now, I have only one video up, which I don't expect to gain many views since I too am not very interested in the prospect of a runescape clan anyway. I usually leave comments on the videos I watch and try to make them as sane as I can.
The identity called Sladik was created when I started playing Runescape in 2006. I formed the name by merging two cool sounding, Slay and Blade, and adding the syllable ik at the end to transform it into an adjective.
In September to October 2009, I was tired of the mmo's I had been playing. They were of good quality, but I had exhausted all the fun free-to-play content. I started to play MapleStory for a few weeks, but I didn't like the classes available at the time and reluctantly returned to Runescape for the next two months.
In January 2010, my whole opinion of mmorpgs changed. I realized that an mmorpg does not need an extremely large playerbase to be fun, and, with the help of mmohut, I decided to play a new mmorpg, Grand Fantasia. After a month or so, I stopped playing because of how hard and boring it is to level. From February to April, I sampled at least seven different mmo's for varying lengths of time with different reasons for quitting. The only two mmo's I played during that time that I wish to continue playing are Earth Eternal and Dragonica. Dragonica has, since then, moved to a different publisher, deleting my characters, and Earth Eternal shut down because the publisher couldn't manage the cash shop well enough, though a Japanese publisher is going to re-release the game soon, called Ikimonogatari in the Japanese version.
In May, my friends were pressuring me to stop playing new mmorpgs every week and to instead jump on the WoW bandwagon. Admittingly, in most aspects, WoW was better than the mmorpgs I had played up to that point. So I decided to instead play what Mmohut called the best free to play alternative to WoW, Allods Online. Through further investigation, however, I discovered that the game was very different from WoW. Although the controls and interface were remarkably similar, the level cap was cut in half, the graphics were much different, and the concept was completely unique. For the entire month of May, I tried out different classes, but was restricted to a low-power computer from June to August. When I began playing again in September, I put Allods aside for a while since my character was so weak, it was impossible to progress, though this was mainly due to own my poor gear and build decisions. For the month of September, I sampled a few other mmorpgs, mainly MapleStory again, but didn't get very far in them. In October, I played in the closed and then open beta of KitsuSaga, but then realized that its botting system practically played itself and gave players who can afk grind for a day an enormous advantage. I just got the hard to obtain Haloween item and went to find a new mmorpg.
The weekend after I stopped playing KitsuSaga, I found out that my guild in Allods, Lullaby, had died. I played Allods again, joining one of the daughter guilds that rose out of the ashes of Lullaby. Since then, although I have occasionally revisited other mmos, I have played Allods Online primarily in hopes to reach its magnificent endgame.
In my various mmos, I have been through quite a few guilds of varying effectiveness; however, only 2 of the 10 or so guilds are still active today. I was in two Dofus guilds in 2009, but those soon went inactive. I was in a few guilds in Grand Fantasia, too, but those soon succumbed to guild politics and drama. Currently, I am the leader of a guild in Allods called ForceOfNature, which is mostly wardenMy full guild history with Allods, though, is too long to include in this field.
I currently have no videos besides an old Runescape clan recruitment, but if you have any questions about Allods or wardens, please ask me. Also, if you are a league warden on the League side in the Tensess server and would like to join my exclusive guild, tell me that also. I wish I have the resources to make videos, but right now I can do nothing more than comment. Until then, I will sign this bio the same way I sign all my YouTube comments.
*UPDATE 2011*
Ever since April, I've loved Minecraft just as much as Allods. I often comment on Minecraft videos, and I'm not bad at the game, either. I lost my original map and seed, but right now I'm developing worlds on my two favorite seeds: Lightwood and a seed that I won't share publicly yet. Hopefully, I can make some Minecraft-themed videos soon.
