This channel has now become a classic.

Our beloved Shelby had to be put to sleep on September 23rd 2008, due to an unknown illness. The doctors in Sebastian, Florida could not figure out what was wrong with her. Her health deteriorated very badly Monday September 22nd, and based upon her condition the morning of September 23rd, we made the decision to put her to sleep. I got to hold her and love her before they put her to sleep. I told her how I would never forget her, and how much fun we had together. I have so many videos of Shelby and they all bring me great joy.

I enjoyed video tapping our everyday life together, and making her talk and do stuff that people wouldnt believe unless they saw it. Shelby was always a willing participant to entertain me cause she knew shed get rewarded for it. Joshua loved playing with her, and I recorded those memories, so I wouldnt forget them. Joshua is two and a half now, and he likes to watch the videos of him and Shelby. He remembers her. He still
loves her, as does the rest of the family and friends who knew her. I know Joshua wonders why shes not around anymore.

I shared five wonderful years with Shelby. She dug a hole so deep in my heart, that I had no idea how much I loved her until she died. I had never had a dog before, and Shelby taught me so much. She loved me unconditionally, the way I loved her. She taught me respect, love, obedience, discipline, humor, compassion and mercy. She taught me about the awesomeness of her breed, and I learned a lot.

This channel was initial setup for my business SKYWIFI Technical Consulting. I named this channel SKYWIFI, and posted videos of Shelby for practice, and for family members back home in Massachusetts to see, after we moved to Florida in May of 2007.

We moved back to Massachusetts Jan 2009 and now we have a new male German Shepherd named Saku that we bought from a breeder in North Carolina. I never thought the videos of Shelby would become so popular. This channel is dedicated in Shelbys memory.

I love you Shelby girl, you will always be my puppy.

Im teaching Saku proper behavior around my son, and teaching Joshua pack leadership over Saku. Saku is now 8 months old. He's about 75 lbs. He can follow commands: sit, stay, right paw, left paw, laydown, rollover, up and come. He also plays fetch and brings it back every single time. If you are not the pack leader, i.e. the one in charge, the dog will take charge of you and your whole family and thats when accidents happen and children get hurt. You must train your German Shepherd properly everyday, all day, to show him whats expected of him around you and your family. He must know what is acceptable behavior and what is not. Putting off training your dog, will cause problems later on. Please take the time to educate yourself about the breed your choosing before buying a dog. Different dogs have different requirements. Make sure the breed your choosing, fits in with your lifestyle. It's a lot of responsibility taken care of a dog. THINK BEFORE YOU BUY!!!!. Don't go with your emotions that the dog is cute. That cute dog will be peeing and pooing and chewing things, and making a mess. If you can't handle that everyday, then don't get a dog or any animal. There are enough dogs in shelters and abusive homes, because people can't properly care for them and give them the life they deserve.
