Dan, searching for Blues licks I saw this site with a lot of helpfull stuff.

I want to compliment you on the way you explain and show things. Very down to earth approach.

I'm a modest player and desperately try to keep up with my son Mike. He started playing age 13. He is just 15 now, but my god he is fast and so talented. At least I can see, that he has my genes.

I'll attach one of his latest vids, which is a easy listening and jamming one.

I'll keep track to this site as a subscriber.

Greetingzzz

WOW!!

Thank you very much for your kind words. They help more than you know!!

The Marshall has all Mullard. I use the xf4's. They have a real creamy top end, and I've never had any issue with quality or microphonics, mechanical or otherwise. I bias to just under 40ma. 37-39 is prime. That way, when it heats up, it won't get too mushy.

Thanks again and Happy Holidays.

Dan, fantastic work and (playing and gear) . The only downside to you-tube is everyone thinks their qualified to be a critic, ignore them. I was so impressed by that marshall of yours that after much searching tracked down a '79 Marshall 50w 2204 and 4X12 cab and purchased it. I havent heard many non master volume amps I like, but the 2204 is just the ticket THANKS wow !!. Exactly What kind of tubes do you have in yours and how is it biased, if you dont mind my asking. Keep on putting out the vids lots of players could benefit learning about good tone. Its' just nice to hear good blues from someone my age or maybe a tad younger instead of the endless sea of souless rock-alterna-zombies that sometimes seem to be out there on youtube. keep it up and don't let the b@$t@rds get ya down.
