Why do americans always sing with an unneccessary vibrato? It has no place in this number! The conductor seems to have understood that it would have destroyed the last chord and has 'removed' it!

Having been impressed by his Dies Irae from the Requiem, I find the Stabat Mater just too cheesy. The style of the music just doesn't match the depth of the text.
