ISRAELI INTERESTS ARE NOT AMERICAN INTERESTS! Israeli objectives should not to be fulfilled by the American taxpayer.
The newly elected Democrats are just as much in favor of Israel as the Bush administration. We saw this as Democrats did nothing but empathize with Israel as it attacked Gaza, stating scenarios like "What would we do if insurgents from Canada or Mexico shot rockets at us?" This just goes to validate Pat Buchanan's statement that Capitol Hill is "Israeli-occupied territory." The scenario they should be envisioning is what would we do if foreigners established a nation within our nation, claimed it as theirs, and excluded us from our own nation, because that is exactly what Israel has done in that region.
Zionism in itself is a racist ideology that has no problem violently displacing Palestinians for the sake of a Jewish homeland. The land rightfully belongs to the Palestinians; who can trace their ancestry to it all the way back to Canaan. Canaan predates the biblical "Land of Israel" discrediting the Zionist belief that the land originally belonged to the tribes of Israel. Most Jews residing in Israel today are actually immigrants from Europe, with no ties to the land. Zionists would have us believe that a Palestinian state never existed, which is simply not true. Palestine was recognized in the days of the Roman Empire, it held its own municipality and governing body throughout the Ottoman Empire and was even recognized by the colonial mandate that created the state of Israel.

The Israelis and the Zionists that stand firmly behind them believe that we are infringing on their sovereignty. They believe our politicians, most of whom are under the spell of AIPAC (the second ranked most powerful lobby in the U.S.) when it comes to foreign policy, put a front and pretend to be Zionists only to deceive Israel. They believe that a number of our Presidents who have supported policies to defend and protect Israel, some of which have taken countless billions of dollars from the American taxpayer, are anti-Semites. And just when you thought it couldnt get any crazier, their conspiracy theory gets even nuttier; they actually believe that we NEED Israel.
The United States needs Israel? Surely, we need Israel if we want to continually entangle ourselves with Middle Eastern affairs. We need Israel if we plan to fight off endless wars against the enemies of Israel. We need Israel if were going to allow our military to simply be a proxy for the ambitions of Zionists like Richard Perle. But mostly, we need Israel so that they can take over a TRILLION dollars from our people, because quite frankly, our NEED for Israel simply exceeds our concern of being buried in debt.
Former President George H. W. Bush is not exactly a person who needs anything. A simple glance at his biography would reveal he has one of the most astounding resumes a person can even dream of: Naval aviator, Yale graduate, Director of Central Intelligence, Vice President under Reagan, and not to mention the 41st President of the U.S., are just some of the glories he has accomplished. Yet when this man resisted AIPAC and refused to guarantee loans to Israel until it picked up peace talks with the Palestinians, he was labeled an anti-Semite. Israeli cabinet member Zeevi went as far as to call him an enemy of Israel. This illustrates more than just the ungratefulness of the Israelis but also the radical thought process of most Zionists: simply disagree with them and youre instantly an anti-Semite and an enemy. Way to go Israel, you guys clearly illustrate how dear of an ally you are to us! Special thanks to my friend zetsway5000 for helping me better understand the way a Zionist operates.
