I'm in the Marines and I met my girlfriend while I was home on Christmas leave. We've been together for 6 1/2 months and I've only been home 5 times. It's hard on both of us but we are making it through. I hate being away from her but she's the only thing in my life that keeps me happy.

@8003279 thank your husband for his service. what branch is he in? i'm a 19 year old marine currently going through infantry training and i will be over there soon and i'm glad to know that there are people who will stand up for their servicemen when others turn their backs on us
