@mieschglenn Actually they didn't mess up the cockpit design. In 1968 ( the setting of the game) the Mi-24 'HIND A' was the first production model ever build and it uses the squared-off canopy design. Only the later 1973 variant 'Hind D' uses the familiar bubble canopy.
