Its a complete form of communal acceptance that allows for absolute individuality. Be who you are and love everyone else for who they are.

your point about lawlessness is both valid and often brought up. In Anarchism, collective security at the communal level is the answer to crime. We are all the police. We have an agreed upon set of rules and we collectively enforce them. These rules have to be minimal as possible. So murder, theft, rape etc... is punished by the community. Smoking dope, prostitution etc... is not because it is none of the communities business. So there is SOME government, but not as it is conceived of right now. It is a new way of looking at human relationships and interaction.

Its not even a bad song....its just that I found it, at the time, more pop than much of the other punk. As for Anarchism; to me it is equal to freedom. Freedom from a government telling you how to live your life or what to do or not to do. As long as you are not hurting anyone else you can believe, do, sleep with, smoke whatever you want. All government ultimately ends up oppressing people. Anarchy also rejects the culture that has produced the structure that has given us the corporate/government complex that has us in so much trouble today. The key here is that Democrats are Republicans. Period. They are two sides of the same coin. They belive that they can take what they want from you and you have to give it. They send us to war, pass laws and tell us how to live. I say fuck them.
