I was there November 2011, saw it, and thought it was funny !!

I stayed in November 2011.

Room was great after we did not like the first one and asked for another one.

Service was good after our travel rep complained.

Just minor stuff, like the remote for the TV and the bulb in the bathroom went out, that was changed within' hours. They keep the place clea...

It was my first trip to D.R. and it was interesting.

A different culture obviously, but most people I encountered were nice.

There is always that underlying resentment towards tourists, mostly from poorer people.

A great experience and I would go there again.
