I am a 17 year old from Bombay(Mumbai). I am a resident of Juhu. My mothertongue- Oriya. I was born in Cuttack, Orissa-1992. I am currently studying SYJC Science in Mithibai College. But I was in Rajhans for the first 2 months of year 2008's commencement of class 11. I like to read books and to study hard. I am preparing for IIT/AIEEE/MHT-CET/OJEE/KARNATAKA JEE/BITS-PILANI/AIPMT/AIIMS/SAT/SAT-Subject Tests/TOEFL. I am also in IITian's PACE. I have also taken correspondence course of University Of Roorkee(IIT Roorkee) and Aakash Medical 2010. Many times I get afraid of great competition in every field. I also think of why I and others are born? Is it that if we work hard to earn our living then we have to contribute to others who are in need so that this world will be a better place to live or is it that material prosperity is the only goal of an individual as is thought in my occidental countries? Not only socially but politically I am very sensitive about beauracrats and ministers. I am shocked to see that even in 21st century many politicians in third world and developing countries are corrupt. I think that one has to realise his/her talent before jumping into any critical situation. I want fundamentally and logically the society and governance to be stronger. I have stayed in many places. I have been to Chhatrapur(OR), Cuttack(OR), Surat(Guj), Kolkata(WB), Berhampur(OR), Raipur(CG) and Mumbai(MH). I have spent half of my life in Orissa. I have stayed in Cuttack 3 times. I have changed 9 schools till now. Some of the prominent schools where I have been are- Kendriya Vidyalaya Cuttack, KV 1 Raipur, KV Ballygunge(Kolkata), KV Berhampur, DAV Cuttack and Rajhans Vidylaya (Mumbai).For the youths like me it is my advise that they should observe, organise, create and innovate new ideas. That is probably why 'innovation' is the main motto of IT MNCs like IBM. It is of due importance that our country should be scientifically and mathematically stronger among emerging youths. It is high time now as our educational system has to be revamped according to changing times and to meet the demands of globalisation.
Thinking on the global scenario, I admit that cultural and ideological differences in different parts of the world have to be fostered. Also cultural exchange should also take place in each and every field of life. Democracy should not only be pertained in governance but also in every sphere of life. One should lookout for drawbacks in their own life and society and should think of guiding their own paths by the principles set by the individual himself/herself.
