FORGIVE ME 4 plaigerizing I wish i could give credit where due i copied this quote online somewhere, I REALLY like this:
Man without a sense of the Absolute is a man that is bewildered and distraught amongst countless relativities. In a world where there is no Sacred, everything is profane. The intellect is limited. The mind by itself can't guide itself properly. If the mind was left to it's own devices, it could not guide itself. Which is why Allaah put all these signs in the earth, for us to ponder and reflect.
Imaam Ahmad bin Hanbal, raheemahullaah, states, "And even if a person with his philosophical debate and intellect, even if he ends up at the same end result as the Sunnah, he will not be a person from the Sunnah until he abandons that and submits to the narrations." +
'Abdullaah ibn 'Umar radiallaahu 'anhu said: "Every innovation is misguidance, even if the people consider it to be something good."
'Abdullaah ibn Mas'ood radiallaahu 'anhu said: "Follow and do not innovate, for you have been given that which is sufficient [and every innovation is misguidance]."
I command you to have Taqwa, and to be obedient to those appointed leader over you, even if it be an Abysinnian slave. O my companions, those who live after me will, very soon, see a lot of differences among you. Stick to my path and the path of the Rightly Guided Khalifas. Abstain from innovations, for every kind of innovation is a Bid'ah, and every Bid'ah is misguidance and all misguidance leads to hellfire.
Abu `Abd Allah (A) is reported to have said: "The greater one's involvement with the world, the greater shall be his regret at the time of parting from it"
FINALLY:
Imaam al-Barbahaaree said:
"Do not bear witness for any of the people of Islaam (i.e. that he is a person of Paradise or of the Fire) due to a good or bad deed, since you do not know what his final action before his death will be. You hope for Allaah's Mercy for him and you fear for him because of his sins. You do not know what has been destined for him at the time of his death as regards repentance and what Allaah has destined for that time if he dies upon Islaam. You hope for Allaah's Mercy for him and you fear for him because of his sins."

Nasheeds w/lovely voices reminding me of ALlah, death, reminding me of my brothers and sisters I am now down to mostly NPR woo-hoo in the car...usedta just listen to music to clean or stay awake while driving,lol Music is the adhaan of the shaytaan, even if i give it up entirely, unfortunately i will still have to listen to it while on hold or in an elevator...billboards, naked women, music, alcohol the army of shaytaan is more active and proficient nowadays...these end day near the day of Judgment. May Allah save me from all evil!
