Personally, I prefer pump, more reliable, better shot consistency, range and more power. Plus, if can shoot a shotgun well, you don't need semi-auto. One shot will end it all for an attacker. Plus if you want to shoot smaller practice loads, semi-auto can't cycle all those weaker loads well.
