His character went through serious changes and to watch someone with that kind of talent (and good looks) was a real thrill. Eventually, I tried to see all that he has done before and since RH. I absolutely love John Thornton in North and South and Lucas North in Spooks although the last season was a great sadness for me. He was so sweet in Sparkhouse and as Monet in The Impressionists Richard was excellent! In Strike Back, John Porter was my hero even tho the writers made us Americans look bad, that's not Richard's fault. I have told everyone I know that he is absolutley the best looking man I have EVER seen. Even after my first and only crush in 1971 (the year Richard was born,mind you!) Pete Duel from Alias Smith and Jones (I was 13) and when he died I cried like I had really lost someone I loved cause I did. So Richard, please don't die. I couldn't stand the pain!
