Superb recording from a wonderful band who were probably at the peak of their powers in the 1983 -1986 era. What a shame Mark Knopfler plays so little of this material on his solo tours.

None of his solo stuff comes anyway near this standard.

I think it's a bit of a rip off of an old Glasgow Celtic ditty called " Big Jock,manager of Celtic ". My late father used to have old Celtic records in the house and I remember a few of the songs.
