Coming from the rise and fall of many genre's of electronica, never leaving his roots behind, EDGEY has managed to take the best from the past, while pushing the envelope of sound into the future. Working in the past veins of Industrial, Hardcore, Broken beats, Techno, Noise, IDM and Ambience, this genre-bending experience has proved to be most-valuable in his creation to push the realm of Drum n bass to it's varying extremes, all the while maintaining an originality, quality and emotion that lets any listener know: "This is EDGEY."

Taking the Internet scene by storm, EDGEY has drawn fans worldwide, with well more than half a million downloads, individually selling numerous CD's, and drawing more exposure to the underground darker side of experimentalism in the field of drum n bass. Earning praise on various drum n bass community websites, as well as sound tracking independent film, engaging in remix activity, handling interviews and articles for print magazines and e-zines; EDGEY continues to help further the scene with positivity for growth.

Stephen Knight, the production mind behind the creation which is EDGEY, is a New York based native, and has been recording in various areas of electronic music for over 10 years, and has since released other works and projects for Ninja Tune Recordings, Digital Hardcore Recordings, Reduced Phat, HANDS Productions, Black Monolith, Industrial Strength Records, plus many others. Live performances primarily across the United States and International venues are all well received and will continue in the future. "If it weren't for the evolution, I think we'd just stagnate in a pool of our own boredom. Progression and experimentation is a big part of my music", states EDGEY, on the subject of recording and live performances.
