I'm a retired high school teacher. This means that I have plenty of time in which I can indulge in my passion for song writing and recording. I have a 32 track digital recording program (ProTools) on my computer, so this enables me to create complete backings for my songs. I play all the instruments and do all the vocals and vocal harmonies. All the audio tracks for the videos are pre-recorded. So forgive me if my lip synching is not always spot on! I was lead singer in a band called The Sonamatics in the sixties. We had a couple of records released, one of which made it into the charts in 1966.
I recently struck up a friendship with Mark Butterfield here on YouTube. Despite the fact that we live on opposite sides of the Pacific we are able to make music together thanks to the internet. Mark is a very talented singer/songwriter/musician and I consider it an honour to be able to collaborate with him on our various music projects.
